  • 3 Mission Garlic & Herb Naan

  • 1 Chicken, cut into pieces

  • 2 Potatoes, roll cut

  • ½ Onion, cut into large chunks

  • 10g Garlic, crushed

  • 1 Green Pepper, sliced

  • 1 Red Pepper, sliced

  • 1 Yellow Pepper, sliced

  • 3 Ginger slices

  • 5g Sichuan Pepper

  • 2 Anises

  • 5g Dried Red Pepper

  • 30g Bean Sauce

  • 330ml Beer

  • Oil, for heating

  • Light Soy Sauce, for seasoning

  • Salt, for seasoning

  • Step 1

    Wash and clean chicken, cut the whole chicken into chunks, blanch the chicken chunks, and set aside.

  • Step 2

    Wash and peel potatoes, roll cut them. Cut onion into chunks, smash garlic, wash peppers, remove the core and seeds then cut into slices.

  • Step 3

    Heat a pan with oil, add ginger, garlic, Sichuan pepper, anises and dried red pepper, stir fry until fragrant. Add chicken chunks, stir fry for one minute, then add bean sauce, light soy sauce, potatoes and stir well. Add beer, increase heat to boil then turn over to a low heat and cook for 20-30 minutes. Add onion and peppers, season with salt, stir well and continue to stew until all ingredients are cooked through.

  • Step 4

    Remove from the pan, serve on plate with baked Mission Garlic & Herb Naan.
